Now, a little about you:
  • Smart, energetic, savvy Account Executive or Senior Account Executive with sophisticated media relations expertise looking to join one of the most dynamic sports practices in the country
  • BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience working at a PR agency and/or on an in-house communications team
  • A background in sports, consumer, and corporate communications. Experience in technology, media and emerging sectors is also a plus
  • Understands and can study data, distill insights and brings new ideas to the forefront
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, both collaboratively and independently
  • Has a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent writing, research, and organizational abilities
Now, a little about the job:
  • Can deliver excellent client service and is a reliable point of contact for clients and media
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and become an expert in clients’ businesses
  • Able to foster new and significant media and industry relationships
  • Assist in developing campaigns and integrated communication plans
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members
  • Aid in the development and execution of PR campaigns, including product launches, events and media activations
  • Proactive, multi-tasker, problem-solver who can be a collaborative team player
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
  • Familiarity with Cision, Muck Rack, TV Eyes, or comparable tracking platforms
  • Monitoring and sharing coverage across print, online and social media with clients - knowledge of industry KPIs 
  • Comfortable with engaging clients and serving as a day-to-day client contact
  • Create and write press materials, including press releases, executive bios, fact sheets, and bylines
The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience: $50k - $60K.
