Working with a reputable multi-location Ag Equipment company that is looking for a highly experienced Service Manager. Excellent customer service skills and technician background a must. Preferred applicants will have a minimum of 5+ years management experience or a combination of 10 years diesel repair and service management.

They are seeking an experienced Service Manager to join their team to oversee one of their main locations.
Job Description:
As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the service department's operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of equipment maintenance and repair.
Drawing upon your previous experience with agricultural equipment repairs, you will recruit and lead a team of skilled technicians and service advisors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Essential Functions:
- Oversees the overall performance of the Service Department and is accountable in meeting revenue, gross margin, and profit & loss goals as defined in the annual and monthly profit plan
- Manages customer relationships, the productivity of department staff, and the quality of service
- Provides leadership, guidance, coaching, and direction to the service staff to achieve department goals, by promoting the company vision, mission, and culture within the store
- Follows established company policies and procedures, and clearly communicates company expectations to department staff
- Enforces shop safety practices and manages within OSHA guidelines
- Executes the recruitment, hiring, training, discipline, and firing to ensure that the Service Department is staffed with competent employees (within approved budgets and Store Manager approval)
- Manages the appearance, upkeep, and security of the shop and related facilities
- Makes recommendations to the General Manager on staffing and compensation requirements within the department
- Informs the General Manager in a timely manner of any issues related to the Service operations
- Attends required meetings as scheduled
- Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the Owner
Required Education and Experience
* High School Diploma or GED
* Some college or trade school required.
* Experience with John Deere, CASE IH, AGCO, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, CAT equipment is a plus.
* 5+ years in a responsible position within the ag equipment service industry
* 1-3 years sales experience
* 3-5 years administrative/clerical
* 3-5 years supervisory/management experience
* 5+ years customer service experience
* 5+ years technical or mechanical experience
Compensation is $85,000 - $125,000 plus benefits depending on experience and fit.
