Position: Hospice Clinical Manager (Registered Nurse)
Location: Milford, MA area
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm

MVP Recruitment is seeking a hard-working, organized, and dedicated Registered Nurse to join a reputable hospice care provider in Milford, MA as a Hospice Clinical Manager. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a cohesive, growing team that is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have hospice experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and educate staff.

Position Summary:

The Hospice Clinical Manager works under the direction of the Hospice Director and collaborates to oversee the care provision of a dedicated group of clinicians within a specific geographical area. This role involves leading interdisciplinary team meetings, ensuring compliance with hospice regulations, and supporting staff education and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings for the dedicated team.
  • Track and ensure timely completion of Face-to-Face encounters.
  • Participate in orienting and mentoring new staff.
  • Review and complete documentation according to Medicare Regulations.
  • Participate in staff education and training, including Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI/PI) initiatives.
  • Screen referrals and assist in setting up admissions.
  • Answer clinical calls from families, staff, and outside entities compassionately.
  • Track and compile data to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure field staff visit schedules meet patient clinical needs and productivity goals, and assign visits to LPNs daily.
  • Participate in the manager on-call weekend/holiday rotation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role.
  • Hospice experience is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and educate staff.
  • Knowledge of hospice regulations and requirements.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and eager to grow professionally.
