As a Product Steward - HSE here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and responsible handling of our products throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing the health, safety, and environmental aspects of our products, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your expertise in product stewardship will contribute to the overall safety and sustainability of our business. You will report directly to our Director of Product Stewardship and you will work out of our Buffalo, New York location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact our organization by developing and implementing product stewardship programs that ensure the safe handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the potential risks associated with our products and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Your knowledge of regulations and industry best practices will ensure compliance and promote the responsible use of our products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement product stewardship programs to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Assess the potential risks associated with our products and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the safe handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of our products.
• Stay updated on changing regulations and industry best practices related to product stewardship.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on product stewardship requirements and best practices. Interactions with trade compliance team on imports of chemicals for ESS division.

The salary range for this position is $57,500- $71,900. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, other science degree)
• 1+ years of experience in product stewardship or a related field including research and development or manufacturing experience of chemicals
• Knowledge of regulations and industry best practices related to product stewardship
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in SAP would be beneficial.
