Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright - Sugar Refinery, NE

Position Summary:
Our client, a leading sugar refinery in western Nebraska specializing in refined beet sugar manufacturing and distribution, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright for immediate full-time employment. This role is integral to the team responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a safety leader, demonstrating strong safety practices and leadership. Collaborate with the team to implement and uphold the plant's safety plan with the objective of achieving a zero-injury workplace.
• Perform maintenance on process and packaging equipment, including but not limited to pumps, belt conveyors, scroll conveyors, chains, sprockets, fans, and bearings.
• Conduct welding, cutting, equipment setting, and dismantling as required.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
• Work in a rotating shift or fixed shift environment as needed.
• Maintain an excellent attendance record.

Skills & Experience:

• Preferably possess a two-year technical degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in maintenance and repair of process and packaging equipment.
• Basic understanding of vibration equipment, laser alignment, and oil analysis.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Strong time-management abilities.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of sugar factory processes is advantageous.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $24.65 to $36.81 per hour, with benefits 
• No relocation assistance or sponsorship available.
