As an Events and Sponsorship Manager you will play a pivotal role within the Channel Marketing Team and Corporate Marketing Team, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, ranging from small-scale workshops to large-scale conferences, while also managing sponsorship relationships. This role requires a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of experience in event management and sponsorship, who can adeptly navigate both domains to deliver successful outcomes for the organization.

+ Strategically plan and execute a diverse range of events both internal and external, encompassing product roadshows, trade shows, conferences, seminars, incentive trips and corporate retreats.

+ Cultivate and maintain relationships with sponsors, negotiating contracts and agreements that mutually benefit both parties and maximize sponsorship revenue. Additionally, negotiate hospitality opportunities and organize related arrangements.

+ Manage event and sponsorship budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while delivering high-quality experiences for attendees and sponsors.

+ Coordinate all logistical aspects of events and sponsorship activations, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual setup, transportation, signage, content presentations and branding.

+ Develop comprehensive event marketing and promotion plans, utilizing various channels to drive attendance and engagement.

+ Provide on-site management during events and sponsorship activations, overseeing setup, addressing any issues or emergencies, and ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.

+ Liaise with event agencies and other vendors, overseeing their work to ensure alignment with the event vision, budget, and timeline.

+ Conduct post-event analysis and reporting to evaluate the success of events and sponsorships, gathering feedback to inform future strategies and initiatives.

 

Required:

+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management and sponsorship, preferably within the corporate or technology sector.

+ Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and executing events of varying sizes and complexities, as well as managing sponsorship relationships.

+ Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable sponsorship agreements and manage budgets effectively.

+ Excellent project management abilities, including multitasking, prioritization, and attention to detail.

+ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, sponsors, and vendors.

+ Proficiency in event management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as required for events and sponsorships.
