About Us:

We are a newly established company spun off from a successful digital agency, focused on delivering a state-of-the-art conversational chat product (artificial intelligence) designed for government clients, including cities, counties, libraries, and federal agencies. Our product is already implemented in production for two large clients and has proven its effectiveness. We aim to expand our reach and impact by growing our dedicated team. With a limited budget, we are seeking a resourceful and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and help us achieve our growth goals.

Role Overview:

The Marketing Manager will be our first hire and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company. This individual will be responsible for identifying our ideal customer profile, developing a compelling offering, creating and managing our brand, and implementing strategies to drive growth. The successful candidate will be hands-on, innovative, and capable of working effectively in a small but mighty team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Profiling: Identify and define the ideal customer profile (ICP) for our conversational chat product, focusing on government clients such as cities, counties, libraries, and federal agencies.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends within the government technology sector.
  • Product Offering: Develop and refine the product offering tailored to the needs and pain points of our target customers.
  • Brand Development: Create and establish a strong brand identity, including brand positioning, messaging, and visual elements.
  • Website Management: Design, develop, and manage the company website to ensure it effectively communicates our value proposition and engages potential customers.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality marketing materials, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, social media content, and email campaigns.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and build partnerships with industry influencers, relevant organizations, and potential clients to enhance our market presence.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize and improve results.
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI and ensure cost-effective marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, content marketing, and social media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, social media platforms).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
  • Experience in the government or public sector is a plus.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
  • This is a full-time position available only to US candidates.
  • Experience and interest in Artificial intelligence.
