Required Qualifications: - Actively participate in a team environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Skills :
- Basic computer skills
- Basic understanding of blueprints and specifications
- Basic math skills
- Basic ERP skills
Essential Functions & Responsibilities (definition of job): - Organize and plan the use of blasting equipment and material
- Ensure blasting equipment is properly maintained and in a ready state of operation
- Prepare materials for painting by cleaning, masking, media blasting
- Examine and measure finished surfaces to ensure conformance to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Use of basic hand tools and measuring devices
- Perform daily machine preventative maintenance, changing filters as necessary
- Perform in-process visual inspection of units before and after product is painted
- Respirator certification
- Ability to work with hazardous materials and tolerate heat
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to become a certified waste handler
- Ability to learn basics of mixing various paint ratios and testing paint to determine proper mixture
- Ability to learn to paint various units with a range of finishes and processes
- Learn the basics of utilizing spray guns, paint cans, and touch-up guns
- Additional PPE required as needed
- Pass annual eye exam specific to job title
- Cross train within department
- Support manufacturing operations across departments and product lines, being flexible as needed.
- Train less experienced team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
