Job Summary The Recruiting Coordinator will facilitate recruitment by identifying, recruiting, and screening potential employees for specific positions and assisting hiring managers with interviews. This role will work closely with the Human Resources Director to identify staffing gaps and hiring projections.
Responsibilities and Duties - Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, job fairs, and university career offices to develop a candidate funnel
- Own recruitment process including but not limited to:
- Review and update job ads
- Maintain applicant database
- Work with department heads to determine staffing needs, skill requirements, and develop interview questions to hire the best candidates
- Develop and track goals for the recruiting and hiring process
- Conduct phone screens and preliminary interviews
- Administrative tasks related to recruitment
Qualifications and Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (experience may substitute education.)
- Proven success as a Recruiting Coordinator or similar
- Exceptional organization and communication skills
- Tech savvy and a quick learner: can figure out new systems and adapt on the go
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing concurrent projects with attention to detail
- Must be knowledgeable in HR policies and best practices
- Trustworthy: practice impeccable discretion when handling sensitive information
