This position promotes a positive and successful learning experience for students in an effort to increase retention, success, and completion. The incumbent develops intervention strategies designed to improve academic success and persistence; monitors and tracks student academic progress; empowers students through coaching to achieve academic success; and provides guidance to develop students intellectually, emotionally, socially, and culturally.
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
Education:
Master’s Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
AND
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience related to the above described duties.
