Schedule: Mon-Fri, 2:00pm – 6:00pm (additional hours available during school breaks and summer)
JOB SUMMARY
The Teen Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing engaging and empowering programs tailored to the unique needs of teenagers in the community. This role involves creating a positive and inclusive environment, recruiting participants through outreach efforts, providing mentorship and support, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the success of diverse programs. With a commitment to youth development principles and strong interpersonal skills, the Teen Coordinator plays a pivotal role in fostering personal growth and positive experiences for teens within the local community.

ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This role will use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Most duties will be carried out in Club in indoor areas. Successful program operations may necessitate travel to trainings, vendors, agencies, out-of-town trainings, offices, and other program sites.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift or move office products or supplies, up to 25 pounds.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical, mental, and emotional stamina to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position under sometimes stressful conditions; Manual dexterity sufficient to write, use telephone, business machines, and operate an automobile; Vision sufficient to read printed materials; Hearing sufficient to conduct in-person and telephone conversations; Speaking ability in an understandable voice with sufficient volume to be heard in the normal conversational distance, on the telephone, and in addressing groups; Physical agility to push/pull, squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, lift a minimum of 25 lbs. walk and stand for a minimum of 3 hours, and to reach overhead; Physical mobility sufficient to move about the work environment (office, from the club, school, or home site to site), to drive an automobile; Physical, mental, and emotional tolerance to be exposed to the noise generated by children/youth in an enclosed environment; Mental acuity to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, make valid judgments and decisions. High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects; superior interpersonal abilities-able to interact effectively with co-workers of all levels and with the representation of other organizations and institutions. Ability to communicate with diverse personalities, tact, maturity, and flexibility.
