Job Description

This is an 3-4 month contract assignment where individuals will be Staffmark employees working onsite at Taco Bell

About the Job:

Reporting to Test Kitchen Manager, Kitchen Technician is responsible for supporting the Global Product Innovation and Commercialization Team for Taco Bell. In this role this individual will support and execute the day-to-day product development and showings in the R&D test kitchen. We are looking for a passionate fan of Taco Bell who can apply their talent and help create an environment where ideas thrive inside of our test kitchen.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Ingredient preparation for product development and showing needs
  • Support and assist in food showings and presentations for developers
  • Preparation, stock and organize taco bell prep lines, including cleanliness
  • Support and execute leadership showings and small events on site
  • Assist in preparing shipments for PD/FIT department for ingredients and smallwares
  • Sensory support: assist in conducting internal and external sensory tests
  • Commercialization support: assist in conducting internal new ingredient cuttings
  • Ingredient Testing support: assist in conducting new ingredient testing

Is This You?

  • 1-3 year’s experience working/prepping in full service/quick service restaurant or catering/banquets
  • A Bachelors or Associates Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Food Science, or other Sciences preferred
  • Food Safety in restaurant foodservice – ServSafe preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with positive attitude
  • Self-motivated, team player, organized, and punctual
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PPT)
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to handle long periods of time on your feet and moving
  • Professional appearance
